Parents

Our goal is that each family will contribute 20 hours of volunteer time to the school.  This could be through participation in our Parent Teacher Enrichment Group [PTEG] (similar to a PTA), or it could mean volunteering in classrooms, on field trips, for our special events, etc. It may also mean some projects which could be done from home, (i.e. mailings, proof reading, etc.). We also count attendance at our parent meetings as time towards your 20 hours. 

We believe that all families can contribute 20 hours with the various options available. You will receive frequent reminders about the time you have contributed as well.  Given that we are a Charter School, our parents are active, and we believe that everyone will want to share their time to be involved in their child’s school.  If you are truly unable to complete 20 hours, parents can discuss their individual circumstances with school staff to find an alternative.
